tabCapture

Purpose: Captures audio and video from browser tabs you choose to record. This is essential for the Extension's single purpose of recording tab content.

Privacy Impact: Only active when you explicitly start a recording. No automatic or background capture occurs.

offscreen

Purpose: Creates background documents for handling the MediaRecorder API, required by Manifest V3 architecture.

Privacy Impact: Used internally for technical implementation; no user data is accessed.

activeTab

Purpose: Identifies which tab you want to record when you click the Extension icon.

Privacy Impact: Provides temporary access only when you interact with the Extension.

downloads

Purpose: Saves completed recordings to your downloads folder.

Privacy Impact: Files are saved locally; no network transmission occurs.

storage

Purpose: Stores Extension settings and recording state locally.

Privacy Impact: All data remains on your device; no synchronization or cloud storage.
